At Pic-Up Spares we like to help out in our community and for years now we have been donating used cars to colleges for them to work on with their students, shaping the next generation of skilled mechanics.

We recently sent a Tesla Mk3 to NPT College for them to work on and for anyone interested in a career working with vehicles, here is some more information from the college:

"For well over a decade, NPTC Group of colleges, formerly Neath Port Talbot College has been so grateful for the support given by Pic-Up Spares and the Swain family.

During this time Pic Up has kindly donated both vehicles and components to support the delivery of motor vehicle technology to aspiring motor vehicle mechanics.

The vehicles and components donated play an important part in the practical delivery of the motor vehicle course ranging from Entry level 3 (foundation) to Level 3 courses delivered to garage apprentices.

As technology moves on so does the motor industry. We were delighted to accept a used Mk 3 Tesla, kindly donated by Pic Up Spares. This will now play an integral part in the delivery of Electric Vehicle courses we plan to run from September from the campus in Pontardawe.

As from September, there will be a level 1 awareness of electric vehicles course with progression to level 2 & level 3 courses in the same subject.

The College would like to thank Tim Swain his family and Pic Up Spares who over many years have made the practical aspect of motor vehicle delivery so much interesting for the students. Your help and support throughout the years have been truly appreciated."
