2002 Renault Clio V6 Phase 1 Breaking
We have a 2002 Renault Clio V6 Phase 1 that we are breaking for parts
The Phase 1 Renault Clio V6 is one of the most audacious "hot hatches" ever produced, with only 1,631 units hand-assembled by Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) in Sweden between 2001 and 2003. This 2002 example features the signature mid-mounted 3.0-litre 24V V6 engine (ES9J4), which was originally derived from the Laguna but tuned to deliver 227 bhp and 300 Nm of torque. Unlike the standard front-wheel-drive Clio, this model utilizes a rear-wheel-drive configuration with a 6-speed manual transmission and a significantly widened track—housing bespoke suspension components and a unique rear subframe. Key parts available from this rare Phase 1 include the ES9J4 powerplant, the specific wide-body composite panels, 17-inch OZ Racing alloy wheels, and the distinctive interior featuring sport-bucket seats and the rear engine cover assembly.
