AL5000 Bailer arrives. - 10/09/2003
Pic-Up Spares becomes the first car dismantlers to purchase a Mobile Vehicle Bailer. The bailer was designed specifically to be used for the recycling and crushing of motor vehicles. It is the same unit used by the DVLA in Swansea to dispose of cars, and is highly effective. The bailer is an important part in achieving our aim as a leading ELV center. The new ELV directive aims to increase the percentage of recoverable and recyclable items on motor vehicles during the dismantling and recycling process. Eventually ELV's will only be scrapped at authorised facilities meeting tightened environmental treatment standards.
